Our proven data center methodology includes the following 4 steps:
1. Trace - Each connection is traced from end to end to identify the connectivity and the overall switch port capacity, including identification of the hardware. This process is completed carefully and meticulously ensuring all devices stay online.
2. Identify Requirements - The length, color and type of each patch cord is identified. If additional or replacement cables are necessary, it is established in this step Determine whether cable management, power management or other forms of cable containment are required Determining solutions to maximize energy use, on a raised floor using heat mapping technology. Network rack and stack in final resting position to enhance device management
3. Document - A switch port data sheet is created for each network closet to document cable information, port information and device details A new labeling scheme is created and sent to customer for approval All patch cords are labeled following Industry Standards
4. Patching - We work with your I.T. team to ensure that there is no disruption to your services Each switch will be patched during off business hours All cables will be properly managed and labeled accordingly Future installs will become a simple and clean process!
